her almost-two-year-old behaviors

She covers her mouth when she laughs, until she sees someone watching and then she hangs her head.  She tells Sage, "NO!" with a pointed finger like a seasoned mother.  She believes wholeheartedly that any child in the house will meet any legitimate need that she has.  She sits at the table and eats her ice cream like one of the big kids.  She answers, "Meeeee!" with her hand raised any time a group question is presented.  (like who wants ice cream?)  She calls out, "NIGHT....." with gumption to everyone in the house when being carried off to bed.  She reads her books like she knows what she's reading.  She calls Luke "Yuke"  and sometimes wants us to call her Marty instead of Marta.  She lays there for a minute just looking at me and saying, "Momma" in the sweetest voice when I go to get her up.  She's sweet and chubby and independent and so loveable.  What would we be without her??
