Well here we are...

Finally after months of Joe being gone day and night, we are settled into our new little home.  And we're very happy here.  The kids are happy, we are happy, and thankfully, even Sage is happy.  The house is smaller than where we were, with a much smaller yard, and yet it functions like a much bigger home and the kids spend their days riding bikes and happy as little bees.  We are thanking God daily for meeting our needs, when we didn't even know what we needed.  We had dreams of land in the country, and he brought us to a yard in town, and we couldn't be more thankful.  Right now, we are in the perfect place and we are settled (and hoping we'll never move again...).

There is so much to be done on the house and yard, but for those begging for some pics, here is a first before and after, with unfinished work included.  This is the wall Joe removed and beam he put in.  He pulled up carpet, took out upper cupboards, painted walls and refinished floors.  We are using the true living room as our dining room and loving all the space it gives us.  Also loving all the light and openness from the removed wall.
