Emi just walked up and found me looking at a picture of a baby at 8 weeks gestation. She asked
me: "Mom, is that a fish?"
mom: "No, it's a little baby in his Momma's tummy. That's how big Momma's baby is right now."
Emi: "Well, is it a crab?"
Mom: "No honey, it's a baby. Babies just look sort of funny when they are really little and then they grow into pretty little babies, and then they come out of Momma's tummy."
Emi: "Ohhh, well, when will it turn into a fish?"
me: "Mom, is that a fish?"
mom: "No, it's a little baby in his Momma's tummy. That's how big Momma's baby is right now."
Emi: "Well, is it a crab?"
