I was talking to the kids at the table about our verse this week and I explained to Luke that if Daddy and Momma disobey God then he will discipline us because he loves us, just the way a shephard uses his rod and staff to keep the sheep safe.
Luke: "How can he discipline you? Does he give you a spanking?"
Mom: "No, but he can take away our peace..."
Luke: "Then how would you drive????"
Mom: "What?"
Luke: "How are you going to drive if he takes away your keys?"
